EFI Defendant Seeks Funds for Travel to Trial

Lancaster Online reported that A former Equipment Finance Inc. employee wants taxpayers to pick up his anticipated $1,500 tab for traveling to his upcoming trial in Philadelphia.

Curtis A. Kroesen, of Wood Duck Drive, Manheim, filed the request in Philadelphia federal court Thursday.

He and his wife, Misty L. Kroesen, also a former EFI employee, are set to go to trial April 10 in Philadelphia for their alleged roles in the loan fraud at the now-defunct firm.
