• Lewis Cohn is the managing partner of the firm. He also heads Cohn & Dussi LLC's banking, financing and equipment leasing departments. He is a member of the firm's creditors' rights and bankruptcy department. Lewis Cohn's practice is concentrated in representing lenders in financial transactions, collections, workouts and liquidations of troubled debt. He is an aggressive commercial attorney with a primary goal to provide clients with the most effective and economical solution to their legal situations. Mr. Cohn has developed a special expertise in the representation of equipment lessors, lenders and banks in leasing transactions, asset-based transactions and cash flow transactions. Lewis has a broad background of litigation experience regularly appearing before the state, federal and bankruptcy courts. Mr. Cohn received a LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law and a J.D. from Suffolk University School of Law. He is a member of the Massachusetts and District of Columbia Bars. He is a member of the Equipment Leasing Association (ELA), the Eastern Association of Equipment Lessors (EAEL), United Association of Equipment Lessors (UAEL), the Massachusetts Bankers Association and the Northeast Chapter to the Turnaround Management Association. He is a past member of Equipment Leasing Association Credit & Collection Planning Committee. Mr. Cohn is a frequent speaker at various equipment leasing and banking educational seminars and conferences. Mr. Cohn can proudly say that because of his comprehensive knowledge in his specialized practice areas, together with his vast network of resources, he is able to provide his clients with quick effective results.
