Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, the world’s largest industrial auctioneer, will celebrate the Grand Opening of its Donington Park, UK auction site with an unreserved public equipment auction on September 18, 2012.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on the morning of the auction to officially mark the opening of the company’s new UK auction site. The auction, which starts at 9 am, features a range of heavy plant equipment, tractors, trucks and items used in the construction, agriculture, material handling and other industries. On 17th April 2012, Ritchie Bros. held its first auction in Donington Park, which attracted 620 online and on-site bidders from close to 50 countries. More than 670 plant equipment items and trucks were sold to the highest bidders during the one-day auction, with close to 60 percent of the equipment being sold to bidders from outside the UK.
