Sichuan Airlines Leases Third A330-300 From Intrepid
Thursday’s announcement is the third A330-300 that Intrepid will be leasing to the Chengdu, China-based carrier.
“We are delighted to further expanding our business relationship with Sichuan Airlines and further develop the Chinese market for us,” said Volker Fabian, CEO of Intrepid. “In 2012, we have been able to place more new A330 aircraft on lease in China than any other lessor globally. It proves the desirability of the Airbus A330 as a product as well as our appreciation of the importance of the Chinese market.”
Intrepid said it expects to deliver the aircraft to Sichuan in the fourth quarter of 2014.
“We are enthusiastically looking forward to the opportunity of further expanding our cooperation with Intrepid,” said Li Hai Ying, CEO of Sichuan Airlines.
